Duties

• Manage a caseload from initial case filing through to trial or resolution.
• Conduct legal research and oversee research projects assigned to paralegals.
• Prepare and file pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery documents, and case reports.
• Attend court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in insurance defense or personal injury litigation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in using technology and software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
