Labor And Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience in employment-related matters. Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to employers on a variety of labor and employment issues.
• Defend clients in employment-related litigation, including but not limited to wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage disputes.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and handbooks.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written memoranda on employment law issues.
• Represent clients before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement compliance programs and training.
• Stay updated on changes in labor and employment law and advise clients accordingly.
• Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3-4 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania and good standing.
• Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
