Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare filings for court proceedings
  • Represent clients during hearings, depositions, and trials

  • Coordinate with staff to ensure timely filing of documents and adherence to court deadlines
  • Maintain daily time tracking for billable hours
  • Collaborate with senior associates and managing partners to refine skills and take on increasingly complex legal matters

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience practicing family law, preferably with trial experience
  • Strong analytical, oral communication, and persuasive writing skills
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Motivated to learn and develop as part of a team
  • Ability to engage clients with empathy and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
