Job Overview:

The entry-level associate attorney will represent clients in administrative disciplinary matters and criminal cases and participate in a 24-hour critical incident response rotation. The ideal candidate will excel in legal research and writing, advocate for law enforcement and public safety employee clients, and demonstrate a strong commitment to public service.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in administrative disciplinary matters and criminal cases
  • Participate in a 24-hour critical incident response rotation
  • Conduct legal research and writing
  • Advocate on behalf of law enforcement and public safety employee clients

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in legal drafting and administrative tasks
  • Knowledge of LexisNexis or other legal research platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in criminal law

Education:
