A law firm is seeking an Attorney for their Los Angeles, CA office focusing on real estate finance law. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, substantial experience in large law firms, and exceptional communication skills.

Job Overview:

The Attorney will handle real estate finance transactions, including loan origination, asset management, and workout experience. They will manage transactions from inception through closing and post-closing activities, such as secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Duties:

  • Manage real estate finance transactions, including loan origination, mezzanine loans, preferred equity, asset management, and workout experience.
  • Oversee transactions from inception through closing and post-closing activities.
  • Handle secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.
  • Provide legal counsel and support to lenders.

Requirements:

  • JD required.
  • 5+ years of broad real estate finance experience.
  • Solid large law firm experience practicing real estate finance law.
  • Experience in loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
  • Familiarity with asset management and workout experience.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
