A law firm in Princeton is seeking a Junior Litigation Associate Attorney with 1+ years of relevant litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest or experience in conducting depositions and oral arguments, with preference given to those with prior judicial clerkship experience. Strong academic credentials, along with exceptional legal research and writing skills, are essential. The candidate must possess a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and be admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct depositions and oral arguments.
  • Review electronically stored documents for litigation purposes.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests.
  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Interact professionally with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Assist senior attorneys in trial preparation and strategy.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in New Jersey.
  • 1+ years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Experience with conducting depositions and oral arguments preferred.
  • Prior judicial clerkship experience preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials demonstrating legal research and writing proficiency.

 

Certifications and Skills:

  • Admission to practice law in New Jersey.
  • Experience in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Strong oral advocacy skills for depositions and oral arguments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
