A business law firm is seeking a skilled Small Business Litigation and Transaction Lawyer to represent small businesses in a dynamic practice. Location:

Duties:

  • Represent small businesses in legal matters, including business transactions, conflict resolution, and litigation
  • Draft and review LLC documents, customer and employee contracts, vendor agreements, and business sale agreements
  • Manage conflict-driven cases that may evolve into litigation, including breach of contract and commercial collections
  • Represent clients in litigation once cases escalate to the courthouse
  • Foster relationships with clients that may lead to outside general counsel roles
  • Maintain a focus on client retention and ensuring high levels of communication and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and staff in a non-hierarchical, team-oriented environment

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar and in good standing
  • Experience in small business transactions, conflict-driven cases, and litigation
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
  • Dedication to providing practical, client-focused legal solutions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload with efficiency and attention to detail

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Texas State Bar membership

Skills:

  • Strong litigation experience, including breach of contract and commercial collections
