Litigation Associate Attorney - Labor & Employment

Job Overview: A well-established national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its Labor & Employment practice in the Denver, CO office. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of civil litigation experience and a strong interest in handling a broad range of labor and employment matters, including single-plaintiff employment litigation and complex wage and hour class actions. Location:

• Denver, Colorado

Duties:

• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, with a focus on single-plaintiff employment disputes and wage and hour class actions.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on various labor and employment matters.
• Manage a diverse caseload, working closely with senior attorneys on case strategy.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and other litigation-related activities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates on case progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to address complex legal issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of civil litigation experience, preferably in labor and employment law.
• Experience in wage and hour class action litigation is highly desirable.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and case management.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of Colorado.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of labor and employment law, including wage and hour regulations.
• Experience with civil litigation, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple, complex cases and communicate effectively with clients.
