Job Overview: A law firm in Naples, FL, is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will handle their own caseload, work closely with a seasoned Partner to develop litigation strategies, and provide exemplary client service. Strong writing skills and experience in reviewing medical records are highly preferred. The role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and ideally experience in virtual work or schooling environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation claims from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with an experienced Partner to formulate and implement effective litigation strategies.
  • Review and analyze medical records and legal documents to support case development.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence, with precision.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.
  • Stay current with Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and case law.
  • Ensure compliance with all procedural and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional client service through timely updates and effective problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and active membership in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Workers' Compensation defense experience preferred.
  • Strong writing skills with experience in reviewing medical records.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Experience working or schooling in a virtual environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and maintained membership in good standing.
