Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a midlevel Private Equity Associate with extensive experience in private equity transactions. The ideal candidate will work on a variety of corporate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and day-to-day operations of portfolio companies. This role offers opportunities to collaborate with experienced attorneys and engage with national and international clients across multiple jurisdictions.

Duties:
Provide legal counsel on private equity matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and management of portfolio companies
Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents
Collaborate with legal teams on complex cross-border transactions
Conduct legal research and provide analysis on corporate and financial regulations
Assist in due diligence and risk assessment processes
Maintain client relationships and deliver high-quality legal support
Requirements:
4-6 years of private equity legal experience
Strong background in corporate law and financial transactions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate global client needs
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the bar in the state of employment or eligibility for admission
