Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of practice in commercial disputes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing both state and federal court cases, including litigation and arbitration, in areas such as breach of contract, real estate, and business torts. Duties:

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters.
• Handle cases involving issues such as breach of contract, real estate disputes, and business torts.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.
• Manage electronic discovery processes.
• Take and defend depositions in various matters.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, staff, and clients in a team-based setting.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients regarding litigation and dispute resolution.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Experience with state and federal court proceedings, including arbitration.
• Strong proficiency in drafting legal documents and preparing discovery.
• Proven track record of managing cases involving breach of contract, real estate, and business torts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
