Corporate Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced corporate attorney to join its dynamic Corporate Practice Group in Manchester, New Hampshire. This attorney will work collaboratively with a skilled team to provide practical, business-oriented legal services to a diverse range of business, non-profit, and individual clients. The role involves handling various corporate matters and transactions, with a focus on delivering value-driven solutions.

Duties

• Work closely with clients on a variety of corporate matters, including business transactions and strategic planning.
• Advise clients on business structures, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and other legal aspects of running a business.
• Manage multiple client matters simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are properly set.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other corporate documents.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide high-quality legal solutions and support.
• Engage in business development activities to foster client relationships and identify new opportunities.

Requirements

• Admission to the New Hampshire Bar.
• A minimum of 4 years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate law.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in transactional and M&A work is preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the New Hampshire Bar.
