A law firm is seeking a dynamic and skilled Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Dallas, TX. This role involves diverse responsibilities, including client communication, supervision of associates, collaboration with experts, and active participation in fact development and depositions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, excellent analytical and writing skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates.
  • Collaborate with experts to develop case strategy.
  • Assist with fact development and conduct depositions.
  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables and respond to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Meet deadlines and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in virtual conference calls, and attending meetings.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3 years of litigation experience, preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Experience with product liability and complex commercial litigation.
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and sound business judgment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
  • Conceptual thinking and the ability to influence others.

Education and Certifications

  • JD degree.
  • Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized schools.
  • Additional degrees such as MD, MPH, PharmD, or in Epidemiology are highly desirable.
  • Admitted to practice in Texas.
