A prestigious law firm is seeking a talented Patent Agent to join its Patent Prosecution & Litigation team specializing in the Chemical, Pharma, and Biotech sectors. Duties:

• Manage patent prosecution and litigation tasks within the Chemical, Pharma, and Biotech sectors.
• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications across a variety of complex technologies.
• Provide technical support and guidance on IP strategy, patent portfolio management, and litigation matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop legal arguments and strategies for client cases.
• Assist with client communications regarding patent-related issues.
• Perform detailed patent searches, and analyze prior art to support patentability assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and evolving patent laws.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in patent prosecution and IP matters.
• Expertise in chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field.
• Strong technical background with experience in the Chemical, Pharma, and Biotech sectors.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
• Advanced degrees and/or prior relevant work experience are a plus.

Skills:

• Expertise in patent law, specifically in the context of the Chemical, Pharma, and Biotech industries.
• Strong proficiency in patent drafting and prosecution procedures.
