Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in landlord-tenant disputes, evictions (including Section 8 housing cases), and Fair Housing Act compliance
  • Provide legal counsel on property management issues, lease agreements, and regulatory compliance
  • Handle discrimination and civil rights violation claims related to housing
  • Advise landlords and property owners on legal matters impacting their property and business
  • Draft and review leases, contracts, and legal notices
  • Litigate tenant damage claims, lease violations, and rent collection disputes

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active Nevada law license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate law, particularly focused on landlord-tenant disputes
  • Strong litigation skills with the ability to manage cases independently
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Nevada Bar License

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, including eviction processes and Fair Housing Act compliance
  • Strong litigation experience, especially in real estate disputes
  • Proficient in drafting and reviewing leases, contracts, and legal documents
