The ideal candidate will provide clients with timely updates, communicate effectively with insurance companies regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers, and represent clients in hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a team-oriented mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients with regular updates on their cases
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding the status of claims, demands, and offers
  • Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations
  • Evaluate claims and provide strategic advice to clients
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery
  • Conduct legal research and analyze case law
  • Develop case strategies and manage case files
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management
  • Maintain compliance with all legal standards and regulations

Requirements:

  • Member of the Florida Bar and in good standing
  • 2+ years of litigation experience; First Party Property Damage experience is a plus
  • Experience in evaluating claims and providing strategic legal advice
  • Superb negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Team-oriented and collaborative mindset

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active member of the Florida Bar Association
