Attorney - Trucking and Transportation

A law firm seeks an Attorney specializing in Trucking and Transportation law, with 0 to 2 years of experience, including recent graduates awaiting the results of the July 2024 South Carolina bar exam. Duties

• Represent clients in matters related to trucking and transportation law, providing knowledgeable legal counsel and advocacy.
• Conduct thorough legal research to inform case strategies and support legal arguments.
• Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, motions, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth case management.
• Maintain organized files and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple cases simultaneously.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and client projects.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in South Carolina or awaiting results from the July 2024 bar exam.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in trucking, transportation law, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven research skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid South Carolina Bar license (or in the process of obtaining).
