A law firm in Austin is seeking a skilled Corporate Associate Attorney with a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Private Equity. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in these areas, strong Bar admission credentials, and a proven track record in handling complex transactions and private equity matters.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating transaction agreements and documents.
  • Advise clients on private equity transactions, including fund formation, investments, and exits.
  • Conduct due diligence and analyze legal risks associated with transactions.
  • Draft and review complex legal documents such as purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and closing documents.
  • Assist in structuring and executing complex corporate transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement legal strategies.
  • Stay current on developments in M&A and private equity law and market trends.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar admission in good standing.
  • Proven experience in handling complex corporate transactions and private equity deals.

Education and Certifications:
