Attorney needed for Birmingham office

Location:

• Birmingham, AL

Duties:

• Manage a significant volume of creditor’s rights cases
• Handle discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution
• Represent clients in court appearances and related proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies and client management
• Assist in growing the firm's presence in the industry
• Provide legal counsel on issues related to foreclosure, bankruptcy, and consumer collections

Requirements:

• Member in good standing of the Illinois State Bar
• 5+ years of litigation experience preferred (newly licensed attorneys will be considered)
• Familiarity with creditor's rights, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and consumer collections
• Ability to manage high caseloads and complex legal issues
• Strong leadership skills, written and verbal communication abilities
• Willingness to proactively develop client relationships and contribute to the firm’s growth
• Court appearances and some travel may be required
• Strong understanding of the Illinois legal system

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Illinois State Bar
• Additional Bar licenses are a plus
