Duties:

• Handle a diverse caseload involving civil litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research using platforms like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, and depositions.
• Manage case files and maintain case schedules and deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in trial preparation and litigation strategy.
• Effectively communicate with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of civil litigation experience.
• Admission to practice law in the state of New York.
• Strong writing and oral communication abilities.
• Proven experience in legal research, especially with tools like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
• Demonstrated organizational and case management skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed and admitted to practice law in New York State.

Skills:
