Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a qualified attorney for the role of Mid-Level Labor & Employment Associate in Los Angeles. The position requires a minimum of 4-6 years of experience within Labor & Employment law. Duties:

  • Represent employers on class and individual bases for labor and employment issues, including:
    • Wage and hour compliance
    • Employment discrimination
    • Sexual harassment
    • Retaliation and leaves of absence
    • Employee accommodations
    • Personnel policies and employment agreements
  • Provide counsel and litigation services on wage & hour class actions and PAGA cases.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Labor & Employment law.
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing workload.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in wage & hour class actions and PAGA cases is essential.
  • Ability to handle complex employment law issues with attention to detail.
