Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team in Houston, TX. • Attend court appearances, defend and take depositions, and participate in settlement negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in interactions with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient case management and high-quality legal support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contributing to the firm’s growth.
• Stay informed on legal developments, including changes in laws and court rulings that may affect clients.
• Originate new clients to obtain bonuses for bringing in new business.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (must reside in Texas).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on business, construction, and real estate litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive legal matters.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
