Job Overview: A reputable law firm’s Finance & Restructuring practice group is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join its Fund Finance team. This position is tailored for candidates with 4-6 years of transactional legal experience, ideally with a background in finance law. 

Location

Duties

  • Manage fund finance transactions, providing legal support within the Finance & Restructuring group
  • Draft, negotiate, and review a variety of finance-related agreements and transactional documents
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to inform transaction strategy and support client advisement
  • Maintain communication with clients, providing updates and strategic insights on fund finance matters
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal standards and best practices across all transactions

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of transactional legal experience; finance law experience is highly preferred
  • Strong academic credentials with demonstrated research and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing within the candidate’s state of residence
