Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters with a focus on insurance defense.
• Manage caseload independently with guidance from senior attorneys.
• Prepare, draft, and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Attend hearings, court conferences, and depositions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written memoranda.
• Consult with expert witnesses and manage trial preparation.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Provide strategic case analysis and develop action plans.
• Attend site inspections and assist in trial preparation and attendance.

Requirements:

• Valid Florida Bar License in good standing.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in insurance defense, construction, and/or professional liability preferred.
• Experience litigating in both state and federal courts.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to handle a high caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Florida Bar License (Required)

Skills:
