Personal Injury Attorney

Location:

• Chicago, IL

Duties:

• Represent clients in a wide range of personal injury litigation claims.
• Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and trials.
• Assist with civil litigation matters from pre-complaint to trial.
• Maintain comprehensive communication with clients throughout the case process.
• Draft and file legal documents, including motions and pleadings.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop effective strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar and in good standing.
• At least 5-10 years of experience handling personal injury cases.
• Experience with first-chairing a minimum of 5-8 jury trials.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent people skills and the ability to maintain client relationships.
• An Indiana Bar license is a plus, but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Illinois State Bar license in good standing.
• Indiana Bar license is a plus (but not required).

Skills:

• Strong litigation and trial experience.
