A law firm in Tampa, FL is seeking a skilled Transactional Attorney to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial, corporate, and real estate matters, with a focus on commercial and corporate transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating a range of legal documents, providing strategic legal advice, and managing complex transactions. A portable book of business is required, along with the ability to navigate complex corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a wide range of commercial, corporate, and real estate matters, with a primary focus on commercial and corporate transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate documents related to general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial and residential real estate transactions.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on corporate governance, policies, procedures, finances, intellectual property, operations, and regulatory issues.
  • Guide clients in compliance with corporate law regulations and best practices.
  • Analyze legal risks and rights associated with various company structures and provide recommendations for corporations, joint ventures, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies.
  • Oversee complex transactions from inception to completion, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida in accordance with the Florida Bar Association.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling commercial, corporate, and real estate transactions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents.
  • Portable book of business required.
