Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
  • Provide timely, accurate, high-quality work products in debt finance transactions.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, manage client expectations, and perform duties as required.
  • Foster positive relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices, including ethical standards.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities necessary for the role, such as working at a computer and participating in virtual meetings and conference calls.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as supervising attorneys assign.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience handling upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds.
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in the state of California.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and sound business judgment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage complex tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when necessary.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
