A law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Class Action Litigation Attorney to manage and litigate large-scale class action cases. The ideal candidate will be passionate about shifting the power dynamics in society, dedicated to generating new cases, and skilled in various litigation processes.

Duties:

  • Manage class action cases from inception to resolution.
  • Research ideas, laws, and potential litigation consistent with the firm's mission.
  • Draft complaints and other legal documents for new cases.
  • Write, respond to, and argue motions in court.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Participate in trials and arbitrations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and keep them informed.
  • Collaborate with finance, economics, and other experts to build cases.
  • Conduct pre-suit investigations and develop new cases.
  • Develop relationships with other attorneys in the Plaintiffs’ bar.
  • Supervise paralegals, assistants, interns, and clerks as necessary.
  • Travel as required for litigation and conferences.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in litigation, preferably in class action or similar fields.
  • Admission to the State Bar or eligibility for admission within six months of hire.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Skills:

  • Excellent oral communication and advocacy skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and work independently under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
