Litigation Member Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced Litigation Member Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of litigation experience and be licensed to practice in Georgia. This role requires a Juris Doctorate or higher and a strong track record in managing complex litigation cases. The successful applicant will be a crucial player in the firm, providing expert legal representation and contributing to the firm's overall success.

Duties:

• Represent clients in complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.
• Develop and execute case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes of their cases.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring all deadlines and court appearances are met.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.
• Stay updated on legal developments, trends, and relevant laws and regulations changes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or similar legal environment.
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) or higher degree in Law.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex litigation cases.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Additional certifications or advanced legal training are a plus.
