Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide analyses to support litigation processes.
  • Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related materials.
  • Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Manage and prioritize an extensive caseload, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Collaborate with partners and other team members on complex litigation strategies.
  • Engage in effective client communication, providing updates and discussing coverage issues.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in insurance coverage litigation.
  • Proven ability to handle various phases of commercial litigation, including investigations, discovery, and mediation.
  • Strong familiarity with different types of commercial insurance, such as general liability, pollution, marine, professional liability, and errors and omissions.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.

Certifications:

  • Active admission to the Texas State Bar.
