Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Attorney to support complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and a strong interest in furthering expertise in the field. This position involves managing multiple eDiscovery projects, meeting deadlines, and coordinating effectively with clients and case teams. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction where they are based.

Location:

  • Phoenix, AZ

Duties:

  • Manage eDiscovery tasks in complex litigation matters.
  • Supervise and coordinate project execution to ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, and standards.
  • Draft and negotiate discovery-related protocols, orders, and agreements.
  • Serve as the point of contact with case teams and clients for eDiscovery project execution, implementation, and status updates.
  • Coordinate with case teams, clients, and vendors for identifying and collecting client data.
  • Create accurate budgets and estimates for review projects, monthly revenue forecasting, and invoice reviews.
  • Develop and manage document review workflows, including the quality control process.
  • Oversee preparation of document productions.
  • Provide guidance and training to review attorneys to improve work product and performance.
  • Cultivate a positive team environment.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction in which you are applying.
  • 3-5 years of eDiscovery experience (in-house, law firm, government, etc.).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which the position is located.

Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical, writing, and attention to detail.
  • Strong business judgment and organizational skills.
  • Leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
