A law firm in Chicago is seeking a Mid-level Financial Services Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, experience in preparing for and participating in FINRA arbitrations and securities regulation matters, as well as exceptional research and writing skills.

 

Duties:

  • Prepare for and participate in FINRA arbitrations and securities regulation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on financial services litigation issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in litigation matters.
  • Assist with trial preparation and support.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 3+ years of experience practicing law, preferably in financial services litigation.
  • Strong understanding of FINRA regulations and securities laws.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.

 

Skills:
