Job Overview
A law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney to join their team as they expand their operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned attorney to play a pivotal role in establishing and growing the firm’s presence in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will have a strong background in family law and a passion for making a difference in clients' lives. This role offers a hybrid/remote work schedule, with occasional in-person requirements in Dallas for client consultations, meetings, and court appearances.

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of family law and divorce cases, from business aspects to drafting pleadings and conducting trials.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
  • Draft family law pleadings, including motions, petitions, and responses using West Forms Online Version.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure the most effective legal strategies for clients.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court hearings and trials.
  • Assist in the firm's expansion efforts in Dallas by leveraging local knowledge and establishing a client base.
  • Foster positive client relationships through compassionate and professional communication.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to uphold high standards and improve results.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of recent family law experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and oversee all aspects of a family law case, including trials and negotiations.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Texas State Bar license in good standing.
  • Proficiency in drafting family law pleadings and motions using West Forms Online Version.
  • Ability to push for excellence in both individual and team performance.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Texas State Bar membership (Active)
  • Preferred: Board Certification in Family Law.
