Job Overview:
A law firm in Salt Lake City is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-6 years of international legal experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent analytical and writing skills, and significant experience in international law.

Duties:

• Draft and review contracts and corporate documents

• Provide legal advice on international trade, data privacy, and immigration matters

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex international legal issues

• Represent clients in matters related to international business transactions

• Assist in providing counsel to multinational corporations and government entities

• Stay up-to-date on international legal trends and changes in regulations

• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions

Requirements:

• 1-6 years of experience in international law

• Strong academic performance with excellent writing and analytical skills

• Experience in drafting contracts, corporate documents, or advising on international trade, data privacy, or immigration is a plus

• Experience working or living overseas is highly desirable

• Fluency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Arabic) is a plus

• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and high professional standards

• Highly motivated to learn and develop within the international legal space

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be a member of the Utah Bar or be willing to take the Utah Bar exam

• If not currently a member of the Utah Bar, applicants must be a licensed attorney in good standing in another U.S. state

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and writing skills
