Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a dedicated and motivated Entry-Level Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic team. This full-time remote role will involve handling a variety of cases, including business disputes, contract cases, real estate litigation, construction issues, and intellectual property matters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and litigation support, and will be eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced, virtual environment.

Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents including letters, memos, motions, pleadings, and orders.
• Assist the lead attorney in preparing for hearings and trial preparation.
• Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all deadlines and case management tasks are completed efficiently.
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal support staff on discovery and other case-related tasks.
• Conduct in-depth legal research across a wide array of legal topics relevant to ongoing cases.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience in litigation or a similar legal field.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe.
• Experience with Clio is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Graduated cum laude or in the top 25% of the class.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Florida.
