Entry-level Litigation Associate

Duties

• Manage a dynamic caseload involving wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative lawsuits
• Interface with clients to provide updates and legal guidance
• Draft law and motion documents, including pleadings, motions, and other legal filings
• Argue motions in court
• Conduct all aspects of discovery, including taking and defending depositions
• Draft and respond to written discovery requests
• Attend mediations and settlement conferences
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and staff to manage cases effectively

Requirements

• California Bar license (required)
• 1-3 years of litigation experience
• Fluent in Spanish (preferred)
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Exceptional legal writing and research skills
• Experience with federal and state complex litigation or similar fields
• Experience in all aspects of discovery practice, including depositions and written discovery

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active California Bar license (required)
