Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will manage complex litigation cases, provide strategic legal advice, and represent clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and drafting discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Communicating effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
• Producing high-quality work products promptly
• Meeting deadlines and fulfilling job expectations
• Building and maintaining positive work relationships
• Adhering to firm policies and practices
• Engaging in both physical and sedentary activities as required
• Performing additional duties or projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Litigation Attorney
• Proven experience drafting litigation documents such as motions to dismiss, written discovery, and summary judgment motions
• Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated business judgment and excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in legal research and problem-solving
• Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others
• Persuasive communication and management skills
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Minnesota Bar is required
