Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and options in criminal cases
• Draft legal documents, motions, and case-related materials
• Attend pretrial hearings and provide clients with updates and legal strategies
• Manage court appearances, trials, and witness interviews
• Conduct legal research and analyze probable outcomes based on legal precedents
• Gather and evaluate evidence to support defense arguments
• Prepare clients for depositions and strategize case objectives
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants to ensure client satisfaction

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in criminal defense law
• Extensive experience handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Texas State Bar
