Duties:

• Manage complex commercial litigation cases from initiation through trial, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and expert development.
• Coordinate legal matters in both New York State and Federal courts.
• Handle all aspects of discovery in large, high-stakes litigation, including taking and defending depositions.
• Draft and argue motions before the court.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on case strategy and execution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case development.
• Prepare for trial, including organizing evidence and working with expert witnesses.

Requirements:

• Minimum of four years of broad-based litigation experience.
• Experience in a top-tier law firm or as a Federal Court judicial clerk.
• Strong case management, legal research, and writing skills.
• Experience managing discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
• Familiarity with litigation in New York State and Federal courts.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
