Mid-level Family Law Attorney

San Jose office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a mid-level family law attorney with 1-5 years of experience. The candidate will work directly with the owner and other attorneys to support the team and help the clients. Work directly with clients to start their divorce and move them through the court system as quickly as possible. Reach out to clients to gather factual information and determine what they need to protect their rights and prosecute their cases efficiently. Prepare the standard family law documents, propound, and respond to discovery, conduct and defend depositions, and be prepared to take the client's case to trial if necessary. Regularly consult with clients and other parties as needed. Flexible work arrangements are available.

The candidate must be able to manage large caseloads. Should be able to handle decision-making on a case-by-case basis independently. Should be able to develop a strategic approach and provide leadership and direction to paralegals and legal assistants. Must be able to cultivate relationships with the firm's existing and future clients. The ability to build client cases and ensure all communication is documented and relayed to the client is required.
