Job Overview

An established law firm based in Cinnaminson, NJ, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Probate. This role offers the opportunity to represent clients in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, manage a dedicated caseload, and work collaboratively with a team of paralegals and support staff. Duties

• Represent clients in legal proceedings across New Jersey's Chancery and Law Divisions, as well as Pennsylvania's Register of Wills and Orphan's Court.
• Prepare and draft estate planning documents, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Trusts, and Guardianship pleadings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards and regulations within Elder Law and Estate Planning.
• Oversee administrative and management functions, ensuring smooth legal operations and client satisfaction.
• Guide business and legal transactions, focusing on the needs of each client.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience, with 2-3 years in Elder Law and/or Estate Planning preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of legal documents related to Elder Law and Estate Planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Familiarity with Amicus Attorney Case Management Software is beneficial.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Certifications

• State Bar Certification(s) in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
