Duties

  • Represent lenders and borrowers in financing transactions, focusing on credit agreements, security agreements, and related documentation.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize various financing documents and agreements.
  • Advise clients on all aspects of lending, borrowing, and related financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to manage complex commercial lending matters.
  • Provide support to clients in understanding and managing their financial agreements.
  • Ensure legal compliance for all financing transactions and documentation.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in banking, commercial lending, or finance law, ideally in a law firm setting.
  • Strong experience in drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, and closing documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
  • High level of academic achievement and law firm experience.
  • Active law license in Colorado or the ability to waive into practice.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Colorado State Bar or the ability to waive in to practice.
