Mid-Level Associate Attorney

A law firm in Tampa is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their team. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute all aspects of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trial proceedings.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client advice.
• Collaborate with team members and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters and strategic planning.
• Organize and prioritize caseload effectively, ensuring timely and efficient case management.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates and guidance throughout the litigation process.
• Participate in client meetings, strategy sessions, and case management discussions.
• Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including client presentations and marketing activities.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Florida.
• 4-6 years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in labor and employment law.
• Strong academic credentials with a demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
