Litigation Associate Attorney Personal Injury Focus

A law firm seeks a passionate and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. Duties:

• Collect and review key evidence such as insurance policies, medical records, and expenses relevant to each case.
• Conduct legal research on case law, focusing on premises liability and other personal injury matters.
• Investigate potential personal injury claims and offer legal counsel to prospective clients.
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and other litigation-related activities.
• Supervise and manage a team of legal assistants, paralegals, case managers, and support staff.
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties to gather essential case information.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Work to ensure each case reaches its maximum potential, focused on delivering justice and fair compensation for clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation and trial experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proven track record of handling case files from start to finish in personal injury cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with clients, colleagues, and other legal professionals.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Proven ability to represent clients at hearings, depositions, and in court settings.
• Ability to collaborate and lead a team of legal professionals.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction (State Bar Admission required).

Skills:

• Strong case investigation and legal research skills.
• Expertise in managing personal injury cases, including complex litigation matters.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client information with discretion.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and supervise legal support staff.
• Familiarity with case management and legal billing software is a plus.
