Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a Business Law Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team. This role will focus on business transactional law, business litigation, and estate planning services. The ideal candidate will assist clients with various legal matters such as acquisitions, sales, succession planning, regulatory compliance, and the drafting of various legal agreements.

Duties:

• Advise clients on entity selection, structuring, tax matters, partnerships, and employment-related issues.
• Support clients with acquisitions, sales of businesses and assets, and succession planning.
• Manage regulatory approvals and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including:
  • Employment and independent contractor agreements
  • Service agreements and joint venture contracts
  • Business-related contracts like buy/sell agreements, stockholder agreements, and management agreements
• Guide clients through the negotiation, structuring, and facilitation of real estate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate commercial and residential leases.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business law, estate planning, and asset protection.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• CPA or LL.M. in taxation (preferred).

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of business transactions, litigation, and estate planning.
• Skilled in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal contracts.
• Ability to handle complex legal matters with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and client service skills.
