Associate Attorney needed for Dallas office

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft and file petitions with discovery and manage deposition preparation for plaintiffs.
• Conduct depositions of defendants and experts.
• Prepare for and participate in mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Review expert affidavits and other critical documentation.
• Handle contested motions and negotiate settlements for litigation.
• Write Stowers demands and manage settlement negotiations.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure case progress and strategy alignment.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• 3-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Proven experience handling contested motions and participating in at least five jury trials as first or second chair.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
• Strong background in negotiating settlements and drafting Stowers demands.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
