Job Overview:
A growing Massachusetts-based law firm is seeking a highly capable Family Law Associate Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This role is ideal for an experienced attorney who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about client advocacy in family law matters. The ideal candidate brings strong courtroom experience, emotional intelligence, and a high standard of professionalism, while maintaining a compassionate and client-centered approach.

Location:

  • Boston, MA

Duties:

  • Represent clients in Probate & Family Court on matters including divorce, custody, support, and other family law issues

  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

  • Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal documents including motions, memoranda, and pleadings

  • Handle all stages of litigation including discovery, hearings, negotiations, and trial preparation

  • Collaborate with team members on case strategy and legal analysis

  • Manage multiple legal projects and deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail

  • Engage in community outreach and maintain positive relationships with professionals and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in family law and Probate & Family Court practice

  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and in good standing

  • Proven ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines

  • Demonstrated excellence in client communication and legal strategy

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of working independently

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Skills:

  • Superior legal research and persuasive writing abilities

  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving capabilities

  • High emotional intelligence and empathetic approach to client advocacy

  • Comfort with learning and using legal technology platforms
