A leading law firm is seeking a mid to senior-level Project Finance Associate to join its Project & Energy group. This role focuses on energy transition financing matters and offers the opportunity to work on internationally recognized projects and cutting-edge financing deals in the renewable energy space. The position can be located in various offices across the U.S.

Duties

• Handle transactions in the financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies.
• Work on tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.
• Collaborate on complex energy transition finance deals.
• Draft and review legal documents related to energy finance transactions.
• Engage with clients to provide strategic legal counsel in energy-related financial matters.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.
• Proven experience in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit transactions.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated business judgment and organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction in which the candidate is applying.
