Job Overview:
A law firm located in Omaha, NE is looking to hire an experienced Litigation Attorney. This role is suited for a candidate with a strong background in handling complex litigation cases, including trials, depositions, and arbitration. The ideal candidate will be an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to providing strategic legal counsel while delivering exceptional client service.

Duties:

• Led and managed complex litigation cases, from strategy development through discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and court proceedings.
• Provide strategic guidance on litigation risks and opportunities to clients.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitrations, and settlement discussions.
• Advise clients on regulatory and compliance issues related to ongoing litigation.
• Cultivate and manage strong client relationships to foster trust and promote business development.

Requirements:

• 8-15 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Expertise in managing insurance defense and complex litigation cases, from inception to trial or settlement.
• Current license to practice law in Nebraska or eligibility to obtain one.
• Proven track record of high-quality, efficient work with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Nebraska (or eligible for licensure).
