Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Texas is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in handling a variety of civil litigation matters, including real estate disputes, fraud, breach of contract, negligence, and business litigation. Duties:

• Represent plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation cases.

• Resolve partnership and shareholder disputes.
• Manage business litigation, including trade secrets and other commercial issues.
• Provide strategic legal advice and develop litigation strategies for clients.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Engage in discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories.
• Represent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in civil litigation.
• Proven experience in both plaintiff and defendant representation.
• Strong background in real estate litigation, fraud, breach of contract, and negligence cases.
• Experience in handling partnership and shareholder disputes.
• Expertise in business litigation, including trade secrets and commercial issues.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong courtroom presence with trial experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
